What to Expect at Your First Chiropractic Visit in Lacey, WA
Your first visit at Vert Chiropractic starts with a conversation.
Before making recommendations, we want to understand what brought you in, what you are experiencing, what activities matter to you, and what you hope to accomplish.
At Vert Chiropractic in Lacey, Washington, our goal is to make the process clear, comfortable, and individualized from the beginning.
Your First Chiropractic Evaluation
Your first visit may include a discussion of:
- Your health history
- What brought you in
- Areas of discomfort or stiffness
- Changes in movement or mobility
- Previous injuries
- Your work and daily activities
- Your individual goals
Dr. Trevor Marum will then perform an appropriate examination based on your individual presentation.
The purpose of the evaluation is to gather information, better understand how your body is moving and functioning, and determine whether chiropractic care may be appropriate for your needs.
We Explain What We Find Before Moving Forward
We believe patients should understand what is being evaluated and why.
After your examination, Dr. Marum will explain what he observed, answer your questions, and discuss recommendations in clear, understandable language.
Vert Chiropractic does not automatically place every new patient into the same adjustment or treatment schedule. If chiropractic care may be appropriate, recommendations are based on your history, examination findings, comfort level, goals, and individual needs.
You will have an opportunity to understand the plan and ask questions before deciding how you would like to move forward.
Chiropractic Care Designed Around the Person
No two people move exactly the same way, and no two people bring the same needs into our office.
That is why Vert Chiropractic does not use a one-size-fits-all approach. Care may look different for an athlete than it does for a pregnant patient, a child, a senior, or someone coming in after an auto accident.
We consider the person in front of us first.
That may include looking at movement, mobility, posture, daily activities, previous injuries, lifestyle, and the goals that matter most to you.
Whether your focus is staying active, understanding a change in movement, navigating an injury, or simply taking a more thoughtful approach to your health, our goal is to meet you where you are and help you make informed decisions about your care.
